Vixen like her siblings is the culmination of German genetics infused throughout Happy Valley Kennel’s breeding program. Mischa vom Glücklichen Tal, Valena’s mother, is a daughter of SG1 James von Ungalant IGP 3, KK who was imported from Germany at 10 weeks. James “Mr. Bond” is owner Krista Wade’s IGP competition K9 having competed in several national competitions at the IGP 3 level. Her mother Melle vom Heidikotton, was also imported from Germany at the same times as Mr. Bond. Melle possesses wonderful maternal instincts. She is a loyal German Shepherd. She is agile, quick, loves the water & has ball drive. Both Mr. Bond & Melle are DM negative, SV “a” Stamp hips & normal elbows. They have exceptional temperaments & dispositions, coupled with drive. Mischa is a balance of both Melle & Mr. Bond and is currently competing in AKC obedience.
Vixen’s sire Ivo von der Baiertalerstrasse was imported from Wiesloch, Germany when he was 1.5 yrs old. Ivo is a beautiful black & red German Shepherd with large bone, a massive head, broad chest and an exceptional temperament. In addition to Ivo’s stunning looks he’s the perfect fit for owner Brandy and her HVK family companion Sierra vom Glücklichen Tal. Ivo loves traveling, swimming, & playing ball. Ivo had the unique opportunity to interact & provide support for families & patients in a rehabilitation hospital who were recovering from various medical conditions. Patients & family members found comfort & solace in Ivo’s calm loving demeanor. Ivo resides in Michigan. HVK is thankful for the opportunity to breed Ivo to our outstanding female Mischa.
Vixen is actively training in HVK’s K9 Obedience, she is crate trained, has leash manners & is becoming proficient in his basic commands.
