Happy Valley Kennel is over the moon about our “G” litter of Wire-Haired Dachshund puppies out of Cathe vom Arendseer Blick and Umberto vom Kauzchenwald. Cathe and Umberto’s breeding has produced the genetic characteristics desired in HVK’s Wire-Haired breeding program. As a result of their very successful first litter HVK choose to repeat this breeding. Cathe and Umberto have produced Wire-Haired Dachshunds that have a desired Wire coat, pronounced hunt drive, are structurally sound, have a balanced temperament and disposition, as well as, wonderful confirmation.

Umberto vom Kauzchenwald is a beautiful Wildboar WireHaired Dachshund born in Germany. The Kauzchenwald kennel is a very distinguished kennel producing Wirehaired Dachshunds with superior hunt drive coupled with excellent conformation. Umberto “ Willie” has an outstanding temperament & disposition! He possesses high hunt drive, a wonderful coat and excellent confirmation. Umberto is a standard male. Happy Valley Kennel is extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to import Umberto to the United States.

Cathe vom Arendseer Blick is stunning black and tan WireHaired Dachshund imported from Germany. Cathe was specifically selected for HVK’s WHD breeding program. She has a loving outgoing personality coupled with a fabulous temperament and disposition. Cathe is always willing to please. She, like Umberto, has a very high hunt drive and excellent confirmation. Cathe’s possesses excellent maternal instincts. She has been an outstanding mother, with high milk production and a nurturing attitude.

Both Umberto “Willie” and Cathe were carefully selected in Germany for HVK’s owner Krista Wade. They reside on their family farm in Bell Buckle, TN and are their personal family companions.
